Creating a new Challenge

A Challenge is a piece of content that Players can interact with in many ways. Creating a Challenge is often the immediate next step after you have created a Topic.

To create a Challenge:

1. Select the Topic in which you would like to create a Challenge. 
2. On the Topic Manager, click .
3. Then, click on CHALLENGE.
4. You will see 2 options:
   1. Select a Challenge Type -  This will be used to illustrate the steps in this article. Learn about the various Challenge Types here. 
   2. Select from a Challenge Template - where you can select from the available templates. Learn more here.
5. Click  and select any available Challenge type.
   
6. Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge:
   1. Upload a Challenge Image which illustrates the content. Or select one from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library. 
   2. Insert a Challenge Name that describes the content. Challenge Description is optional. 
7. You may also configure various Advanced Settings to customize the content. Depending on the Challenge type, the following are available:
   1. Points Settings - for completions, votes, extra points, and team bonus points
   2. Challenge Frequency - how often Players can complete the Challenge 
   3. Scheduling the Challenge to publish or expire
   4. Insert post-completion message
   5. Completion Settings - private completions & Admin-only completions
   6. Send notifications to Players about the newly created Challenge
   7. Locking the Challenge
   8. Embedding content
   9. Embedding a Map
8. Click  to complete.
