Creating a Watch a Video Challenge

Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.

Watch a Video Challenge is designed to ensure full engagement with video content. Players must finish watching the video before they are allowed to complete the Challenge and earn any points, making it ideal for training, announcements, or instructional videos.

Note: 

• Video content must be provided as a direct .mp4 URL, hosted on a file hosting service that provides a direct link to the video file.
• Enterprise platforms users can upload and retrieve the .mp4 URL from the File Manager.

To create a Watch a Video Challenge:

1. Sign in to your Administrator account at https://gametize.com/signin.
2. Select the Project, then the Topic where you want to create the Content.
3. On the Topic Manager page, locate and click "+ New Content".
4. In the pop-up panel, select "Browse the Marketplace".
5. From the Marketplace Widgets, select "WATCH A VIDEO".
6. Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge.
   • Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
     • Toggle the button to enable or disable showing the featured image at the bottom of the Content screen.
   • Enter a Content Title.
   • Add a Content Description, if needed.
   • Embed External Media, if needed.
   • Add the content to a Content Category, if needed.
7. Under Video Settings, enter the video URL (Only videos with .mp4 extension are accepted).
8. Configure any Advanced Settings, if required.
   1. Embedding External Media
   2. Content Category 
   3. Points Settings - for completions, votes, speed points, and team bonus points
   4. Determining how often Players can complete the Content
   5. Activating Time Delay before completions are allowed
   6. Activating Maximum Completions allowed
   7. Scheduling the Content to publish and expire
   8. Entering post completion message
   9. Character limit for Completions
   10. Allow Private Completions 
   11. Enabling Limit Completions to Administrators
   12. Locking the Content
   13. Adding Event Details for a Content
   14. Embedding a Map
   15. Send notifications to Players about the newly created Content
9. Click "Save Details" to create the Challenge.
