Creating a Hangman Challenge

Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.

Hangman is a word game Challenge, where Players will have to select letters to form the correct word. This will be the perfect minigame if you are looking to provide your players with a fun and engaging experience!

To create a Hangman Challenge:

1. Sign in to your Administrator account at https://gametize.com/signin.
2. Select the Project, then the Topic where you want to create the Content.
3. On the Topic Manager page, locate and click on "+ New Content".
4. Select the Interactive Widget in the pop-up panel.
5. Select the Hangman Challenge.
6. Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge.
   1. Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
      1. The Content image will be rendered as the background of the minigame window.
      2. Toggle the button to enable or disable showing the featured image at the bottom of the Content screen.
   2. Enter a Content Title.
   3. Add the content to a Content Category, if needed.
7. Go on to set the Hangman settings: 
   • Clue: Provide clues for the Players to guess the word.
   • Answer: Insert the word that the Players have to form to earn points. You may include alphabets, numbers, and spaces in the answer.
   • No. of lives: Set the number of lives the Players will have to guess the word.
8. Configure any Advanced Settings, if required.
   1. Points Settings for successful and unsuccessful completion
      • Each wrong letter selected results in the loss of one life (represented by "hearts"). The remaining number of hearts after the word is guessed will be converted into points.
   2. Assigning speed points 
   3. Assigning team bonus points 
   4. Determining how often Players can complete the Content
   5. Activating Time Delay before completions are allowed
   6. Activating Maximum Completions allowed
   7. Scheduling the Content to publish and expire
   8. Entering post completion message
   9. Allow private completions 
   10. Locking the Content
   11. Adding Event Details for a Content
   12. Embedding a Map
   13. Send notifications to Players about the newly created Content
9. Click "Save Details" to create the Content.

Some special things about Hangman Challenge:

• Hangman Challenge does not have a description.
• The Challenge image will be rendered as the background of the Minigame.
• A life will be deducted when the Player selects an incorrect word. The game will end when there are no more lives remaining.
