Creating a Single-Option Selection Quiz Challenge

Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.

Use a Single-Option Selection Quiz Challenge when Players should choose one answer from a list of options, and only one option is correct. This is best for single-answer quiz questions where Players should only submit one completion.

Note:

  • Single-Option Selection Quiz allows Players to select one while Multiple-Option Selection Quiz allows more than one of the provided options. See Creating a Multiple-Option Selection Quiz Challenge to learn more.

To create a Single-Option Selection Quiz Challenge:

1. Sign in to your Administrator account at https://gametize.com/signin.
2. Select the Project, then the Topic where you want to create the Content.
3. On the Topic Manager page, locate and click on "+ New Content".
4. Select the Challenges in the pop-up panel.
5. Select "QUIZ CHALLENGE".
6. Select “Single-Option Selection”.
7. Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge.
   • Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
     • Toggle the button to enable or disable showing the featured image at the bottom of the Content screen.
   • Enter a Content Title.
   • Add a Content Description, if needed.
   • Embed External Media, if needed.
   • Add the content to a Content Category, if needed.
8. Under Quiz Options, create at least two options.
   • Mark the correct answer by selecting the radio button below the correct option.
   • Optional: add images to quiz options.
   • Optional: check the checkbox "Randomize the order of the options" to show options in a different order each time Players enter the Challenge.
   • Click "Add Another Quiz Option" to add more options.
9. Configure any Advanced Settings, if required.
   1. Points Settings - for completions, speed points, and team bonus points
   2. Activating Time Delay before completions are allowed
   3. Activating Maximum Completions allowable in a Content
   4. Scheduling the Content to publish or expire
   5. Insert post-completion message
   6. Enabling Private Completions in a Content
   7. Enabling Limit Completions to Administrators
   8. Locking the Content
   9. Adding Event Details for a Content
   10. Embedding a Map
   11. Send notifications to Players about the newly created Content
10. Click "Save Details" to create the Challenge.

Some special things about Single-Option Selection Quiz Challenge:

• Players can complete this Challenge only once.
• Option-based Challenge settings can only be edited when there are no completions associated with the Challenge. If the Content already has completions, you may need to delete the completions or duplicate the Content before changing option-based settings. 
• Images can be added to the created Quiz Options. 
• Add more than two quiz options to increase variety or difficulty.
• Use post-submission messages to show different feedback for correct and incorrect answers.
