Creating a Multiple-Option Selection Multiple-Attempt Quiz Challenge

Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.

A Multiple-Option Selection Multiple-Attempt Quiz Challenge allows Players to select one or more options from a list. Only one combination of selected options is marked as the correct answer.

Unlike a Single-Attempt Quiz Challenge, this Challenge can be completed more than once, depending on how the Administrator sets the Challenge frequency.

  • Single-Option Selection Quiz allows Players to select one while Multiple-Option Selection Quiz allows more than one of the provided options. See Creating a Multiple-Option Selection Quiz Challenge to learn more.

To create a Multiple-Option Selection Multiple-Attempt Quiz Challenge:

1. Sign in to your Administrator account at https://gametize.com/signin.
2. Select the Project, then the Topic where you want to create the Content.
3. On the Topic Manager page, locate and click on "+ New Content".
4. Select the Challenges in the pop-up panel.
5. Select "MULTIPLE-ATTEMPT QUIZ CHALLENGE".
6. Select “Multiple-Option Selection”.
7. Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge.
   • Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
     • Toggle the button to enable or disable showing the featured image at the bottom of the Content screen.
   • Enter a Content Title.
   • Add a Content Description, if needed.
   • Embed External Media, if needed.
   • Add the content to a Content Category, if needed.
8. Under Quiz Options, create at least two options.
   • Select the correct answers by clicking the radio button below each correct option.
   • The selected correct options will form the correct answer combination.
   • Players must select the correct combination to answer the Challenge correctly.
   • You can add more than 2 options to increase variety or difficulty.
   • Click "Add Another Quiz Option" to add more options.
9. Optional: check the checkbox "Randomize the order of the options" to show options in a different order each time Players enter the Challenge.
   • This displays the quiz options in a different order each time Players enter the Challenge.
   • This setting is available for Quiz Challenges.
10. Under Quiz Options Display, choose how the options should appear:
    • List View
    • Grid View, which works best when quiz options include images
11. Configure any Advanced Settings, if required.
    1. Points Settings - for completions, speed points, and team bonus points
    2. Content Frequency - how often Players can complete the Challenge
       • It is highly recommended to check the option "Only allow players to re-attempt until they answer it correctly" to prevent the Players from farming points unnecessarily. The answers will not be shown if the players answer it incorrectly. 
         • The frequency set from "How often may players do this?" will be ignored if this option is selected.
    3. Activating Time Delay before completions are allowed
    4. Activating Maximum Completions allowable in a Content
    5. Scheduling the Content to publish or expire
    6. Insert post-completion message
    7. Enabling Private Completions in a Content
    8. Enabling Limit Completions to Administrators
    9. Locking the Content
    10. Adding Event Details for a Content
    11. Embedding a Map
    12. Send notifications to Players about the newly created Content
12. Click "Save Details" to create the Challenge.

Some special things about Multiple-Option Selection Multiple-Attempt Quiz Challenge:

• Players can attempt the Challenge multiple times, depending on the Challenge frequency settings.
• You can set the Quiz Options Display.
• Option-based Challenge settings can only be edited when there are no completions associated with the Challenge. If the Content already has completions, you may need to delete the completions or duplicate the Content before changing option-based settings. 
• Images can be added to the created Quiz Options. 
• Add more than 2 Quiz Options to give Players more variety or increase the difficulty level.
