Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.
A Form Challenge allows Players to submit responses through one or more fields created by an Administrator. Use this Challenge when you need to collect structured information, such as text responses, numbers, dates, time durations, multiple-choice selections, ratings, or photo uploads.
To create a Form Challenge:
- Sign in to your Administrator account at https://gametize.com/signin.
- Select the Project, then the Topic where you want to create the Content.
- On the Topic Manager page, locate and click on "+ New Content".
- Select the Challenges in the pop-up panel.
- Select "FORM CHALLENGE".

Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge.
- Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
- Toggle the button to enable or disable showing the featured image at the bottom of the Content screen.
- Enter a Content Title.
- Add a Content Description, if needed.
- Embed External Media, if needed.
- Add the content to a Content Category, if needed.
- Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
- Under Fields, create at least 1 field.
- Selecting a Field Type from the dropdown
- Enter a Field Title, such as the question or prompt Players should respond to.
- Enter the points to award when the field is completed.
- Select or deselect the "Make this a required field" checkbox, if applicable.

Choose the Field Type that best matches the response you want to collect:
- Text: allows Players to submit a text-based answer. The answer must be at least 2 characters and has no upper character limit.
- Whole Number: allows Players to submit a whole number, such as 1, 100, or 1033. Negative numbers are not accepted.
- Number with decimal places: allows Players to submit a number with decimal places, such as 1.1, 2.22, or 3.33. Negative numbers are not accepted.
- Date: allows Players to select a date. Administrators can set a date range, if needed.
- Time Duration: allows Players to select a duration in 1-hour and 5-minute intervals.
- Multiple Choice: allows Players to select one option from a list. Administrators can create multiple options and assign different points to each option.
- Rating Scale: allows Players to select a level on a rating scale. Administrators can define the levels for the scale
- You will also see several other options:
- Points Settings - for completions, votes, speed points, and team bonus points
- Content Frequency - how often Players can complete the Challenge
- Activating Time Delay before completions are allowed
- Activating Maximum Completions allowable in a Content
- Scheduling the Content to publish or expire
- Insert post-completion message
- Character limit for Completions
- Enabling Private Completions in a Content
- Under Completion Settings, choose the photo upload setting:
- Photo upload is optional: Players can upload a photo, but it is not required to complete the Challenge.
- Photo upload mandatory: Players must upload a photo to complete the Challenge.
- Disable photo upload: Players will not see the option to upload a photo.

- Locking the Content
- Adding Event Details for a Content
- Embedding a Map
- Send notifications to Players about the newly created Content
- Click "Save Details" to create the Challenge.
Important notes
- Avoid changing the options within the Field or Option Title after completions have been made, as this may cause inaccuracies to the data.
- For Multiple Choice Field Types, the options will be shown in a dropdown list if they contain below 20 characters.
- Button-like quiz options will appear if the options contain more than 20 characters.
