Creating a Confirmation Challenge

Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.

A Confirmation Challenge allows Players to complete a Challenge by clicking a single confirmation button. Use this Challenge when you want Players to acknowledge that they have read, understood, or completed something.

This is useful for simple actions such as confirming that Players have read instructions, reviewed campaign rules, or acknowledged an announcement.

To create a Confirmation Challenge:

1. Sign in to your Administrator account at https://gametize.com/signin.
2. Select the Project, then the Topic where you want to create the Content.
3. On the Topic Manager page, locate and click on "+ New Content".
4. Select the Challenges in the pop-up panel.
5. Select "CONFIRMATION CHALLENGE". 
6. Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge.
   • Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
     • Toggle the button to enable or disable showing the featured image at the bottom of the Content screen.
   • Enter a Content Title.
   • Add a Content Description, if needed.
   • Embed External Media, if needed.
   • Add the content to a Content Category, if needed.

7. Under Confirmation Button, customize the button text if needed.

   • Example: “I have read this”, “I understand”, “Confirm”
8. Configure any Advanced Settings, if required.
   1. Points Settings - for completions, speed points, and team bonus points
   2. Content Frequency - how often Players can complete the Challenge 
   3. Activating Time Delay before completions are allowed
   4. Activating Maximum Completions allowable in a Content
   5. Scheduling the Content to publish or expire
   6. Insert post-completion message
   7. Enabling Limit Completions to Administrators
   8. Locking the Content
   9. Adding Event Details for a Content
   10. Embedding a Map
   11. Send notifications to Players about the newly created Content
9. Click "Save Details" to create the Challenge.

Something special about Confirmation Challenge:

• Players complete the Challenge by clicking the confirmation button.
• Players earn points for completing the Challenge.
• You can customize the text shown on the confirmation button.
• Confirmation Challenges are best for acknowledgement-based actions, not for collecting written responses, quiz answers, or uploaded submissions.
• Use content frequency if Players should be able to complete the Challenge more than once.
