Creating a Memory Game Challenge

Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.

Memory Game is a carnival Challenge, where Players will have to memorize the positions of several pairs of cards and then proceed to match them. This will be the perfect minigame if you are looking to provide your players with an exciting test of knowledge and information. 

To create a Memory Game Challenge:

1. Sign in to your Administrator account at https://gametize.com/signin.
2. Select the Project, then the Topic where you want to create the Content.
3. On the Topic Manager page, locate and click on "+ New Content".
4. Select the Interactive Widget in the pop-up panel.
5. Select Memory Game.
6. Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge.
   • Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
     • The Content image will be rendered as the background of the Memory Game.
     • Toggle the button to enable or disable showing the featured image at the bottom of the Content screen.
   • Enter a Content Title.
   • Add a Content Description, if needed.
   • Add the content to a Content Category, if needed.
7. Go on to set the Memory Game settings: 
   • No. of lives: Set the number of lives the Players will have to match the cards.
   • Cards: Add at least 2 different cards for the Memory Game. 
   • Click on "Add Another Card" to add more cards for the Challenge.
8. Configure any Advanced Settings, if required.
   1. Points Settings for successful and unsuccessful completion
      • Each unsuccessful match results in the loss of one life (represented by "hearts"). The points will be multiplied by the number of lives remaining for the Player.
   2. Points Settings for speed points, and team bonus points
   3. Determining how often Players can complete the Content
   4. Activating Time Delay before completions are allowed
   5. Activating Maximum Completions allowed
   6. Scheduling the Content to publish and expire
   7. Entering post completion message
   8. Allow private completions 
   9. Locking the Content
   10. Adding Event Details for a Content
   11. Embedding a Map
   12. Send notifications to Players about the newly created Content
9. Click "Save Details" to create the Content.

Some special things about the Memory Game Challenge:

• The Challenge image will be rendered as the background of the Minigame.
• Players are given 3 seconds to memorize the card positions. Then, the cards will flip back and players will start to match them.
• A life will be deducted for every wrong match. The game will end when no more lives are remaining.
