Creating a Scratch Card Challenge

Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.

Scratch Card is a random-outcome Challenge, where Players get to choose a random card to scratch resulting in a random outcome and a chance to earn extra points. This will be the perfect minigame if you are looking to create an interactive and fun way to enhance the experience for your Players!

To create a Scratch Card Challenge:

1. Sign in to your Administrator account at https://gametize.com/signin.
2. Select the Project, then the Topic where you want to create the Content.
3. On the Topic Manager page, locate and click on "+ New Content".
4. Select the Interactive Widget in the pop-up panel.
5.  Select SCRATCH CARD.
6. Fill in the necessary details that describe the Challenge.
   • Upload a Content Image. Alternatively, select an image from the Gametize Image Library or Pixabay Image Library.
     • The Content image will be rendered as the background of the Memory Game.
     • Toggle the button to enable or disable showing the featured image at the bottom of the Content screen.
   • Enter a Content Title.
   • Add a Content Description, if needed.
   • Add the content to a Content Category, if needed.
7. Go on to set the Scratch Card outcome options:
   • Outcome Text: Outcome text to be displayed on the scratch card (Note: Limit of 25 characters).
   • Points to Award: Set the points to award the players if the outcome is picked.
   • Chance: Set the chances from 1-10,000. The smaller the number, the smaller the chances.
     • For example, if there are 3 possible outcomes:
       • Option A - Chance: 1
       • Option B - Chance: 100
       • Option C - Chance: 1000
     • Hence, the probability of Option A getting picked is 1/ (1+100+1000) = 0.00090827.
   • Click on "Add Another Outcome" to add another outcome. 
8. Configure any Advanced Settings, if required.
   1. Points Settings for speed points, and team bonus points
   2. Determining how often Players can complete the Content
   3. Activating Time Delay before completions are allowed
   4. Activating Maximum Completions allowed
   5. Scheduling the Content to publish and expire
   6. Entering post completion message
   7. Allow private completions 
   8. Locking the Content
   9. Adding Event Details for a Content
   10. Embedding a Map
   11. Send notifications to Players about the newly created Content
9. Click "Save Details" to create the Content.

Some special things about Scratch Card Challenge:

• The Challenge image will be rendered as the background of the Minigame.
