Notification options for newly created Content

NOTE: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard. 

Important:

• Notification options are available only when creating a new Content.

• Notifications can be enabled only if both the Topic and Project are published at the time of creation.

• Notification options are available when a Content is scheduled to be published (only when creating a Flashcard, Challenge or Interactive Widget). Notifications will be sent for scheduled publishing in the following scenarios:

  • Administrators publish the challenge manually on the Admin Dashboard,
  • Administrators view the content in the topic on the Admin Dashboard, or
  • Players view the challenges in the topic.

• Notifications for a Flashcard or Challenge are sent only once.

• Notification options are not available when duplicating a Flashcard or Challenge and when a Flashcard or Challenge template is used. 

To enable Notifications for New Content:

1. Start by creating a new Content (Flashcard, Challenge or Interactive Widget). Do not save the content yet, as notification options are only available before saving.
2. On the content creation page, scroll to the Send New Content Notifications section.
3. Choose how you want to notify Players by enabling one or both of the following options:
   1. Send notifications via email, and/or
   2. Send notifications via push notifications
4. After selecting your preferred notification option(s), click "Save Details" to create the content.
5. Once the Content is published, Players will receive notifications through the selected channels.

NOTE: On top of the selected notification option(s), Players will also receive in-app notifications.
