After assigning Team Bonus Points to Content for the first time, you can edit these settings by editing the Content.
However, changes apply only to future completions, and there are important rules to keep in mind.
1. Viewing Teams or Players Awarded Team Bonus Points
To view Teams or Players Awarded Team Bonus Point:
- Go on to edit a Content except Flashcard.
- Scroll to the Points Settings section.
- Locate the Team Bonus Points section.
You will see a counter showing how many teams and players (total number of players in the teams) were awarded the team bonus points.
2. Changing the number of players per team that needs to complete the Content to receive the team bonus points
Yes, you can change the number of Players per Team required to complete the content in order to receive Team Bonus Points.
However:
- Changes apply only to future completions
- Teams and Players who have already received Team Bonus Points will not be affected
Example:
- Initially, 3 Players per Team are required.
- To date, 3 players from Team A and 2 players from Team B completed the Challenge. All Players of Team A were awarded the team bonus points, but no one from Team B has earned the bonus yet.
- You then decided that 4 players per team must complete the Challenge to receive the team bonus points instead.
What happens?
- Team A will not be affected.
- Team B would require 2 more Players to earn the team bonus points.
3. Reducing the Number of Players Required per Team to complete the Content
Yes, you can reduce the number of Players required per Team, as long as the value is greater than 0.
4. Stopping Team Bonus Points from Being Awarded
If you want to stop awarding Team Bonus Points entirely, set both the required number of Players per Team who must complete this and points to award to 0.
5. Changing the Number of Team Bonus Points Awarded
Yes, you can change the number of Team Bonus Points awarded.
However:
- Changes apply only to future completions
- Teams and Players who have already received Team Bonus Points will not be affected
Example:
- You initially assigned 3 players per team to complete the Challenge to receive 15 team bonus points.
- To date, 3 players from Team A and 2 players from Team B completed the Challenge. All Players of Team A were awarded 15 bonus points, but no one from Team B has earned the bonus yet.
- You then decided to increase the bonus points awarded to 20 instead.
What happens?
- Team A will not be affected. (No additional points will be awarded.)
- When Team B meets the criteria, each Player will receive 20 team bonus points.
Unlike completion or vote points, which apply to all Players who complete the content, Team Bonus Points only apply to Players who belong to a Team. |
