You may only expire a Challenge and not a Flashcard. Scheduling to expire a Challenge allows you to expire a Challenge automatically at the specified date and time. Once a Challenge has expired, your Players will still be able to view the Challenge but not be able to complete it.
Setting an expiry date and time
- From the Topic Manager, search for the Challenge you wish to edit and click on it.
- Scroll to the section "Scheduling and Frequency Settings" and look for .
- Click on the date selector to pick a date.
- After picking a date, you will have the option to add an end time. Simply select a time from the dropdown (according to your account's preferred timezone).
- If you’ve selected an expiry date but did not pick an end time, the Challenge will automatically expire on the selected date according to your account's preferred timezone.
- Once completed, click on at the bottom of the page.
Editing the expiry date and time
You also have the option to edit the expiry date and time. To do so:
- From the Topic Manager, search for the Challenge you wish to edit and click on it.
- Scroll to the section "Scheduling and Frequency Settings" and look for “Expire this Challenge on”.
- You will see that an expiry date and/or time has been set. Simply click “Remove” to reset.
- You can then go ahead to reselect an expiry date.
- After picking a date, you will have the option to add an end time. Simply select a time from the dropdown (according to your account's preferred timezone).
- If you’ve selected an expiry date but did not pick an end time, the Challenge will automatically expire on the selected date according to your account's preferred timezone.
- Once completed, click on at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: Expiring a Challenge is different from unpublishing a Challenge
