There are a few ways to update one’s user details such as email address or password. This article will cover the options to update a user's Gametize account details.

Updating Account Information Independently
First of all, we recommend updating your account information on your own. To update account information as a Player, here are the following steps to do so:
Via Player Web
- Sign in to your Player account via https://app.gametize.com/login.
- On the top navigation bar, click on to expand the menu and select "Settings".
- You will see the options to update your profile image, account name, contact email, notification options, and account password.
Via Gametize App 1.0
- Launch the app, and sign in with your credentials.
- On the home screen, tap on your avatar image or display name to open your Profile page.
- Tap on to open up the Settings page.
- You will see options to edit your avatar image, name, account email, notification options, and account password.
Via Gametize App 2.0
- Launch the app, and sign in with your credentials.
- On the home screen, tap on your avatar image to expand the menu.
- Tap on "Account Settings".
- You will see options to edit your avatar image, name, account email, notification options, and account password.
User Requesting Support to Change Account Information
This option would be ideal in the following scenarios:
- If you are unable to sign in to your account
- If you forgot your password but are unable to receive email notifications from Gametize
This would mean you can request assistance from our Gametize Customer Support:
Making a Request via the Gametize website
- On the bottom right of https://gametize.com/index, click on .
- Next, click on . This will show you a form you can fill up for your request
- Under “Email Address”
- Ensure the email address is the same one registered under your Gametize account
- Under “Subject”
- While optional, it would greatly help to provide a short summary of your request
- E.g. “Request to update email address”
- Under “How can we help you?”
- Provide details for your request
- E.g. “I would like to update my email address from joe123@gmail.com to joe@gmail.com”
- After filling out the details, click on to complete your request
From there, Gametize’s Customer Support will update your desired account information on your behalf.
Making a Request via Email
Alternatively, you can email Gametize’s Customer Support directly via support@gametize.com:
- Source Email
- Ensure the source email is the same one registered under your Gametize account
- Subject Header
- Provide a short summary of your request
- E.g. “Request to update email address”
- Content of Email
- Provide the details for your request
- E.g. “I would like to update my email address from joe123@gmail.com to joe@gmail.com”
From there, Gametize’s Customer Support will update your desired account information on your behalf.
Project Admin Requesting Support to Change Account Information
If you are unable to email your request due to restrictions (e.g., the company does not allow you to send external emails), then you may ask your project administrator to send the request instead:
- Subject Header
- Provide a short summary of the request
- E.g. “Request to update email address”
- Content of Email
- Provide the details for the request
- E.g. “I would like to update a Player’s email address from joe123@gmail.com to joe@gmail.com”
