NOTE: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.
Publishing or unpublishing a Shuffle Mode Topic works the same way as a Standard Topic. You can use the publish status toggle located at the top of the Topic Manager page.
However, there are important notes to keep in mind:
When publishing a Shuffle Mode Topic
You can only publish a Shuffle Mode Topic after you’ve at least created the number of Challenges you wish to assign to each Player. You can check the bottom section of the Topic Manager page for the number of Challenges you would need to minimally create.
HOT TIPS! If you would like to publish the Shuffle Mode Topic as soon as possible, this is what you can do:
Set the Shuffle Mode Topic to be private without inviting any Players - remember, once Challenge(s) have been assigned, you cannot edit the number of Challenges you wish to assigned per players.
Reduce the number of Challenges to assign per player in the Topic settings
Publish the Shuffle Mode Topic - since Topic is now private with no Players, it is not accessible
To allow Players to interact with the assigned Challenges, invite them to the Private Topic or change the Topic privacy to public.
When unpublishing a Shuffle Mode Topic
There are no restrictions for unpublishing a Shuffle Mode Topic. However, if the Topic is linked to unlocking rules, the following conditions apply (learn more here):
- If you’ve got other Topic(s) locked by it, those Topics will be unpublished as well.
- If you’ve got Achievement(s) locked by it, those Achievements will be unpublished as well.
