This article will cover some of the ways and content management/file-sharing services you can leverage on to generate URLs for PDF documents you wish to embed in a Flashcard or Challenge.
Generating PDF document URL from Google Drive
- First, upload the PDF to Google Drive.
- Right-click on the file and select “Preview”.
- In the top right, click and select . This gives you access to the embedding option, where you would retrieve the link.
- In the newly opened window, to the top right, click and select .
- Copy the link in the quotation marks.
- Go on to embed the PDF link in any Flashcard or Challenge.
Generating PDF document URL from Microsoft OneDrive
- First, upload the PDF to OneDrive.
- Right-click on the file and select “Embed”. You may be prompted to generate the HTML code - click to do so. (or follow the instructions here)
- Copy and paste the HTML code to any text editor.
- Copy the link in the quotation marks.
- Go on to embed the PDF link in any Flashcard or Challenge.
Generating PDF document URL from Box
- First, upload the PDF to Box.
- Right-click on the file and select “More Actions”, then select “Embed Widget”. (or follow the instructions here)
- Copy and paste the embed code to any text editor.
- Copy the link in the quotation marks.
- Go on to embed the PDF link in any Flashcard or Challenge.
