Removing yourself from a Project

Removing yourself from a Project via Player Web

As a Player, you can remove games (aka Projects) under "My Games", and this can be done via the player web or mobile app.

To do so via the Player Web:

1. First, log in to the Gametize Player Web and access “My Games”.
2. Scroll to search for the Project you wish to remove. 
3. Click on on the top right corner of the Project card.
4. Click on "Remove Game".
5. You will see a pop-up window prompting you to remove yourself from the game. Once you have confirmed, click on .

Removing yourself from a Project via Gametize App 1.0

To do so via the mobile app:

1. First, sign in to the Gametize App and access “My Games”.
2. Scroll to search for the Project you wish to remove. 
3. Tap on  in the top right corner of the Project card.
4. You will see a prompt to “Remove this game”. Tap on it and the next confirmation button to remove yourself from the game.

Removing yourself from a Project via Gametize App 2.0

There are 2 ways to remove yourself from a project:

• via Project List Page 
• via Project page

To remove yourself from a Project via Project List Page

1. Sign in to the Gametize App and access “Experiences”.
2. Scroll to search for the Project you wish to remove under Joined.
3. Tap on in the top right corner of the Project card and tap on "Leave Project".
4. You will see a prompt to “Leave Project”. Tap on it and the next confirmation button to remove yourself from the game.

To remove yourself from a Project via Project Page

1. Sign in to the Gametize App and search for the Project you wish to remove.
2. From the Project page, tap on the Project image on the top left next to the Project Title, and this will expand the menu.
3. Tap on "Leave Project".
4. You will see a prompt to “Leave Project”. Tap on it and the next confirmation button to remove yourself from the game.

However, if you see the following message prompt, it indicates that the action cannot be completed on the selected game. You are unable to remove yourself from a Private Project which you’ve been invited to join. If you are unsure, please do check with the Project Administrator.
