Note: This feature is available on the Admin Dashboard to Project Owners and Project Administrators.
Schedule a Topic to expire when you want Players to lose access to the Topic and its content after a specified date and time.
NOTE:
- You can only schedule an expiry when editing a Topic, not when creating a new Topic.
- If you select a date or time that has already passed, the Topic will expire immediately.
- The expiry date and time follow your account’s preferred timezone
Setting an expiry date and time
- From the Admin Dashboard, select the Project containing the Topic.
- Scroll to Scheduling Settings and locate the "Expire this on" settings.
- Click on the date selector to select a date (according to your account's preferred timezone).
- Click on the date selector to select an expiry date.
- To specify an expiry time, select one from the dropdown.
- If you do not select a time, the Topic will expire automatically on the selected date.
- The date and time follow your account’s preferred timezone
- Click "Save Details" to save the settings.
Editing the expiry date and time
- Select the scheduled Topic, then edit the Topic.
- Scroll to Scheduling Settings and locate the "Expire this on" setting.
- Click "Remove" beside the existing expiry date.
- Select a new expiry date and, if required, a new publish time. The new schedule follows your account’s preferred timezone
- Click "Save Details" to save the changes
NOTE: If you no longer wish to schedule the Topic for expiry, simply remove the selected date/time.
