Notification options for newly created Topic

Note: This feature is available on the Admin Dashboard to Project Owners and Project Administrators.

NOTE: 

• Notification options are only available when you are creating a new Topic. 
• Notification options for newly created Topics are only available if the Project, where the Topic is located is published.
• Notifications are only supported when a Topic is scheduled to be published (only when editing a Topic).  
• Notifications will only be sent one time for the Topic.
• Notification options are not available when duplicating a Topic and when a Topic template is used.
• Players receive an in-app notification in addition to any selected email or push notification.

To do so:

1. From the Admin Dashboard, select the published Project where you want to create the Topic.
2. [Important] Create a new Topic but do not use a Topic template.

3. Under Send New Topic Notifications, select one or both notification channels:

   • Email notification
   • Push notification
4. Complete the remaining Topic details, then click Save Details.
5. Add and publish at least one Flashcard or Challenge in the Topic.
6. Edit the newly created Topic.
7. Under Scheduling Settings, select a publish date and time. The schedule follows your account’s preferred timezone.
8. Click Save Details.
9. When the Topic is published, Players receive an in-app notification. They may also receive email or push notifications according to the channels selected during Topic creation.

NOTE: Notifications are supported for the scheduled publishing of new topics. Notifications will be sent for scheduled publishing in the following scenarios:

• Administrators publish the topic manually on the Admin Dashboard,
• Administrators view the topic or topic list on the Admin Dashboard, or
• Players view the topic or topic list in the project
