Scenarios that may occur after a Team Achievement has been awarded

A Team Achievement is awarded to all members of the team when an achievement rule is fulfilled. As part of the team, Players get to keep the achievement which now shows up on their profile page. 

This article will cover some of the scenarios that may occur after a Team Achievement has been awarded and illustrate what happens to the achievement. 

• Player leaves or is being removed from a Team
• Project Administrator unpublish the team
• Project Administrator disables team in the Project
• Project Administrator deletes the team
• Completions, comments, or votes associated with the Achievement are removed

Player leaves or is being removed from a Team

The player who left or was being removed from the Team will not be able to retain the team achievement, while other members of the team will still retain the team achievement. 

Project Administrator unpublish the team

The awarded team achievement will be hidden from the player profile page (where achievements are displayed). When the Project Administrator re-publishes the team, the team achievement will show again. 

Project Administrator disables team in the Project 

The awarded team achievement will be hidden from the player profile page (where achievements are displayed). When the Project Administrator enables teams again, the team achievement will show again. 

Project Administrator deletes the team

The awarded team achievement will be removed from the player profile page (where achievements are displayed). When the Project Administrator enables teams again, the team achievement will show again. 

Not only will the awarded team achievement be removed from the player profile page, but the affected team(s) will also be removed from the recipients list. 

Completions, comments, or votes associated with the Achievement are removed 

Completions, comments, and votes in a Project can be removed in many ways and each has a different effect on the associated Achievement. 

Players action

• Players remove their own completion, comment, or vote: Achievement is retained
• Players reset Topic activities: Achievement is retained

Admins action

• Admin removes Players’ completion, comment, or vote: Achievement is retained
• Admin reset Topic activities: Achievement is retained
• Admin reset Project activities: Achievement is removed as well
• Admin removes Players from a Topic: Achievement is retained
• Admin removes Players from a Project: Achievement is removed as well
• Admin deletes a Topic: Achievement is retained
• Admin deletes a Project: Achievement is removed as well
