What Happens to Team Bonus Points When a Player Is No Longer Part of a Team?

A Player may no longer be part of a Team under the following circumstances:

1. When the Project Admin remove a Player from a team
2. When the Player leaves a team (via web or mobile app)
3. When the Player leaves and joins another team within the same Project 

When this happens, there are important rules regarding Team Bonus Points to be aware of.

• Awarded Team Bonus Points Are Not Removed
• Team Bonus Points Cannot Be Earned Again from the Same Content

1. Awarded Team Bonus Points Are Not Removed

When a Player leaves a Team, any Team Bonus Points already awarded remain with the Player.

• Team Bonus Points are not automatically removed when a Player leaves or changes Teams.
• Currently, Team Bonus Points can only be removed manually by a Project Administrator (see: Removing Team Bonus Points from a Player).

2. Team Bonus Points Cannot Be Earned Again from the Same Content

A Player can receive Team Bonus Points from a specific piece of content only once, even if they later join another Team.

Example

• Team A: Peter and Jane
• Team B: Jack and Jill

A Project Administrator sets up content such that 1 Player per Team must complete it for all Team members to receive 10 Team Bonus Points.

• Peter completes the content while in Team A.
• Both Peter and Jane receive 10 Team Bonus Points.

Later:

• Jane leaves Team A and joins Team B.
• Jane completes the same content again.

What happens?

• Jane does not receive Team Bonus Points again, since she has already received them from this content.
• Jack and Jill, who have not yet received Team Bonus Points from this content, each receive 10 Team Bonus Points.
