Note: This feature is available to Project Owners and Project Administrators on the Admin Dashboard.
Duplicating a Topic copies its image, content, most settings, and all Flashcards and Challenges within it. Player activity and data, Topic Category selections, and some Topic settings are not copied.
This article will cover the following:
How to duplicate a Topic
- Locate the Topic you want to duplicate.
- Select "Duplicate Topic".
- From the dropdown, select the destination Project. You may only copy the Topic to any Project owned by this Project's Owner if you have been granted administrative access.
- To complete, click "Duplicate Topic".
NOTE:
- A duplicated Topic will be tagged with the prefix [COPIED] and will be automatically unpublished.
- Not all Topic settings are copied to the new Topic - learn more below.
Topic Settings that are not copied
All Topic settings are copied to the new topic, except for the following:
- Topic category selections
- Scheduled date/time to publish
- Scheduled date/time for expiry
- Topic locking rule
Who can duplicate a Topic
Project Owners can copy a Topic into any Project they own or administer. If you copy a Topic into a Project you do not own, that Project's Owner may also duplicate it.
Project Administrators can copy a Topic only when:
- The source and destination Projects have the same Owner; and
- They are also an Administrator of the destination Project.
