Creating and Managing Boards

Boards are discussion spaces within your Project's Community where Players can create Posts and Comments.

Use the Community Manager to create new Boards, update existing ones, control whether new Posts require approval, and manage whether a Board is visible to Players.

Creating a Board

1. Open the Community Manager

1. Sign in to the Admin Console.
2. Open the relevant Project.
3. Select Community Manager.
4. Select New Board.

2. Enter the Board details

Complete the following fields:

• Title — enter the name of the Board.
• Description — optionally add a short description explaining what the Board is for.
• All new posts must be approved by admins — enable this if new Posts should require approval before Players can see them.

If post approval is disabled, new Posts will be visible immediately.

3. Save the Board

Select Save Changes.

New Boards are created unpublished, so Players will not see them until they are published.

4. Publish the Board

When the Board is ready:

1. Locate it in the Community Manager.
2. Select Publish.

The Board will then become visible to Players.

Editing a Board

To update an existing Board:

1. Open Community Manager.
2. Locate the Board.
3. Select Edit Board.
4. Update the title, description, or post approval setting.
5. Save your changes.

Changing the Board's title or description does not affect its existing Posts or Comments.

Requiring approval for new Posts

You can enable All new posts must be approved by admins if you want to review new Posts before they become visible.

When enabled:

• New Posts remain unpublished until approved.
• Existing published Posts remain visible.

You can disable this setting again at any time.

Publishing or unpublishing a Board

Select Publish to make a Board visible to Players.

Select Unpublish to hide the Board and its Posts without deleting them.

You can publish the Board again later if required.

Deleting a Board

To permanently remove a Board:

1. Open the Board's edit page.
2. Select Delete.
3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting a Board also removes its Posts and Comments and cannot be undone. If you only want to hide the Board temporarily, use Unpublish instead.

Reordering Boards

After creating a Board, you can change where it appears in the Community using Reorder Boards.
