Reordering Boards and Pinning Posts with the Community Manager

The Community Manager allows you to manage discussion Boards and Posts within a Project.

You can use it to:

• Reorder Boards to control how they appear to Players
• Pin important Posts to the top of a Board
• Set different priority levels for pinned Posts

Reordering Boards

Reordering Boards allows you to control which Boards appear first in the Community.

1. Open the Community Manager

1. Sign in to the Admin Console.
2. Open the relevant Project.
3. Select Community Manager.

2. Open Reorder Boards

1. On the Boards page, locate Bulk Actions.
2. Select Reorder Boards.

The current Board order will be displayed.

3. Arrange the Boards

You can reorder Boards by:

• Dragging and dropping a Board into a new position
• Entering a position using Send to Position
• Using Send to top or Send to bottom

4. Save the new order

Once you have arranged the Boards:

1. Click Save.
2. The Boards will appear to Players in the updated order.

Unpublished Boards can also be reordered. When they are published later, they will appear in the position you selected.

Changes will not be applied if you leave the page without saving.

Pinning Posts

Pinning allows you to keep important Posts near the top of a Board.

1. Open the Board

1. Open Community Manager.
2. Locate the relevant Board.
3. Select Moderate Posts.

2. Pin a Post

Locate the Post you want to pin and select the Pin post option.

Choose one of the following priority levels:

• Pin to top — places the Post at the highest priority
• High priority — places it below Posts pinned to the top
• Normal priority — places it below higher-priority pinned Posts

The change is applied immediately.

Changing or removing a pin

To change a Post's priority, open its pin option again and select another priority level.

To remove the pin, select Unpin. The Post will return to the Board's normal Post order.

Both the Board and Post must be published before Players can see the pinned Post.

Who can manage Boards and Posts?

Project Owners, Administrators, and Moderators can access the Community Manager and manage Boards and Posts.

Some Community settings may only be available to Project Owners and Administrators.
