Moderating Board Posts and Comments

The Community Manager allows Project Owners, Administrators, and Moderators to manage Posts and Comments within discussion Boards.

You can use it to:

• Publish or unpublish Posts
• Edit or move Posts
• Delete Posts
• Review, edit, and delete Comments
• Create Posts and Comments as an Administrator or Moderator

Moderating Posts

1. Open the Board

1. Sign in to the Admin Console.
2. Open the relevant Project.
3. Select Community Manager.
4. Locate the Board you want to manage.
5. Select Moderate Posts.

You will see the Posts within that Board.

Publishing or unpublishing a Post

To make a Post visible to Players, select Publish.

To hide a Post without deleting it, select Unpublish.

A Post is only visible to Players when both the Post and its Board are published.

If your Board requires Posts to be approved, unpublished Posts can be reviewed and published from this page.

Editing or moving a Post

To update a Post:

1. Select Edit Post.
2. Update the title or message as required.
3. To move the Post, select another Board from the Board field.
4. Save your changes.

Creating a Post

To create a Post as an Administrator or Moderator:

1. Select New Post.
2. Choose the Board.
3. Enter the title and message.
4. Save the Post.

You can then publish or pin the Post as required.

Deleting a Post

To permanently remove a Post:

1. Select Delete.
2. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting a Post also removes its associated Comments.

Deletion cannot be undone. If you only want to hide a Post temporarily, use Unpublish instead.

Moderating Comments

To manage Comments on a Post:

1. Open the Board's Post list.
2. Locate the relevant Post.
3. Select Moderate Comments.

You can then review the Comments under that Post.

Editing a Comment

1. Locate the Comment.
2. Select Edit Comment.
3. Update the Comment.
4. Save your changes.

Deleting a Comment

1. Locate the Comment.
2. Select Delete.
3. Confirm the deletion.

The Comment will be permanently removed, while the Post remains unchanged.

Comments cannot be published or unpublished individually.

Adding a Comment

To reply as an Administrator or Moderator:

1. Open the Post's Comments.
2. Select New Comment.
3. Enter your reply and save it.

This can be useful for responding directly to Players within the discussion.

Who can moderate the Community?

Project Owners, Administrators, and Moderators can manage Posts and Comments through the Community Manager.

User Managers do not have access to Community moderation tools.
