Creating Awardable Actions

Awardable Actions are key Player actions which you can define and set to award points when those actions are performed. 

To do so:

1. Select a Project for which you would like to create an Awardable Action.
2. Access the Project Tools. 
3. On the popup menu, scroll to the section "User Management & Awardables" and select “Awardable Actions”.
4. Click  to begin creating. 
5. Under “Select an Action”, select a Player action you wish to award points when that is performed. The following are available:
   • Vote on a Completion: Players can vote on completions from Standard, Photo, Video, and Custom Form Challenges
   • Vote on a Flashcard
   • Comment on a Completion: Players can comment on completions from Standard, Photo, Video, and Custom Form Challenges
   • Comment on a Challenge/Flashcard: Players can comment on any Challenge type and Flashcard
   • Comment on a Topic
   • Refer a Player to a Project: Award points to players when they refer another player to this Project. Referred players need not have an existing account on the platform. Points will only be awarded to the referring player when the referred player joins this Project.
   • Refer a Player to a Challenge: Award points to players when they refer another player to a Challenge in this Project. Points will only be awarded to the referring player when the referred player completes the Challenge.
   • Accept a Player's referral to a Project: Award points to players when they accept a player's referral to this Project. Points will only be awarded to the player when he/she joins this Project.
   • Accept a Player's referral to a Challenge: Award points to players when they accept a player's referral to a Challenge in this Project. Points will only be awarded to the player when he/she completes the Challenge.
   • [BETA] Share Referral Code with Other Players: Award points to the referral code owner when it is used during sign-up by new players.
     
   • [BETA] Use Referral Code During Sign-Up: Award points to new players who sign up using a referral code. The "Share Referral Code" action must be enabled to earn this reward.

   • Form a Team at Minimum Size: Award points to all team members once the team meets the minimum size requirement. The minimum team size must be defined in Team Settings.
     
6. Under "Set your Points", insert the number of points you wish to award each time the action is performed.

7. (optional) You may set a cap on the points a Player may earn from the selected action.
   • 
8. (optional) You may also set how often the cap on points resets:
   • All-time: a one-time cap on points restriction (i.e.for the Project lifetime or for as long as this setting is applied)
   • Daily: the cap points restriction resets daily
9. Click  to complete.
