Editing Email Template - Invitation to Project (for Existing Users)

Invitation to Project (for Existing Users) is one of the five types of email templates available for customization via the Email Editor.

• To begin editing
• What you cannot edit
• What you can edit

To begin:

1. Go to the Email Template Editor.  
2. Look for “Email Invitation to Project (For Existing Users)”, and click on “Edit Template” under the Actions column.
3. This opens up the source code of the Email Invitation to Project (For Existing Users) and you can go on to edit. 
4. You can preview the changes by clicking on the "Preview" tab. 

What you cannot edit

There are the several portions of the source code in which you must not edit or remove. An easy way to find them is to .

1. Follow the steps above to open the source code of the email temple.
2. CTRL-F or CMD-F to look for the tags listed below.

What you can edit

Below are the parts of the email subject and body that you can edit:

1. Email subject (the default says “You have been invited to play”, followed by the Project title)
   
   
2. Logo (the default is Gametize’s logo)
   
   
3. Email greeting (the default says “Hello”, followed by the Player’s name)
   
   
4. Email body
   
   
5. Sign-off signature
   
   
6. Footnote and support email (the default support email is support@gametize.com)
   
   
7. Social media links (the default links to Gametize’s social media profiles)
