Vimeo is used as a centralized video hosting platform to ensure secure, controlled, and high-quality video delivery within the Gametize environment. By setting videos to unlisted and disabling downloads, it prevents unauthorized access and distribution while maintaining a smooth playback experience. Additionally, Vimeo supports clean embedding and consistent branding through presets, ensuring all content is presented professionally within the challenge.
To use Vimeo:
- On Vimeo, upload all videos into the relevant folder.
- For each uploaded video, update the privacy settings:
- Set Privacy to Unlisted.
- Disable Download for all users.
- Apply branding by opening each video.
- Go to Appearance and apply the relevant present
- To get the video file link for the Watch a Video Challenge, click the three-dot menu.
- Select Video file links
- Copy 540p (or higher) link

Paste into the “URL to Video” field in the content
- To get the embed link, click the Share button and select the Embed icon at the bottom left.
- Set Download to Off.
- Set Privacy to Unlisted.
- You can paste the embed link either under Description or Embed External Media. Both options will display the video in the content. However, if you paste the link under Embed External Media, the video will also launch in a pop-up when the player clicks on the content.
- Copy the entire embed link.

Under the Description section for a Content, click on the first icon on the top row on the left.
- Paste the embed link in the rich text editor and click on the icon again.

Copy the embed link from https and stop before the frameborder

Paste it under Embed External Media

- Copy the entire embed link.

Click on Save Details.
