Using Vimeo Video for Contents

Vimeo is used as a centralized video hosting platform to ensure secure, controlled, and high-quality video delivery within the Gametize environment. By setting videos to unlisted and disabling downloads, it prevents unauthorized access and distribution while maintaining a smooth playback experience. Additionally, Vimeo supports clean embedding and consistent branding through presets, ensuring all content is presented professionally within the challenge.
 

To use Vimeo:

1. On Vimeo, upload all videos into the relevant folder.
2. For each uploaded video, update the privacy settings:
   • Set Privacy to Unlisted.
   • Disable Download for all users.
3. Apply branding by opening each video.
   • Go to Appearance and apply the relevant present
4. To get the video file link for the Watch a Video Challenge, click the three-dot menu.
   • Select Video file links
   • Copy 540p (or higher) link

   • Paste into the “URL to Video” field in the content

     

5. To get the embed link, click the Share button and select the Embed icon at the bottom left.
   • Set Download to Off.
   • Set Privacy to Unlisted.
   • Copy the embed link from https and stop before the frameborder
     • 

6. Paste the link into the relevant field in Gametize.
