Note: This feature is only available on the Enterprise Platform.
When creating or editing content, you can embed files directly using the File Manager or by using an Embed URL.
Method 1: Select from the File Manager
To embed a file from the File Manager:
- From the Topic Manager, create a new content or edit an existing one.
- Scroll to the “Embed External Content” section.
- Select the “Select from File Manager” tab.
- Select a file from the File Manager from the dropdown.
- Note: You must have at least 1 file in the File Manager to use this option.
- Once done selecting, click "Save Details".
Method 2: Embed via URL
If you prefer to embed a file using a URL, you will first need to retrieve the embed URL from the File Manager.
- Select the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner to expand the sidebar.
- Click on “Super Admin”.
- In the pop-up panel, click on "File Manager".
- Locate the file you want to use.
- Click “Get Embed URL” under the Actions column.
- Go to the content where you want to embed the file.
- Scroll to the “Embed External Content” section.
- Select the “Embed URL” tab.
- Paste the copied embed URL.
Note: For Watch a Video challenge, you can upload the video to the File Manager, copy the embed URL (ending with .mp4), and paste it into the video URL field.
