In the case that a Player on your platform is unable to reset their own password, you can reset the password of any Player on your platform using the Admin Options.
NOTE: This function is available to Admin Accounts with Superadmin access. If this function is not available to you, please contact the Superadmin or the Gametize team for further assistance. |
You have the option to:
To reset a single Player's password:
- Click
to expand the Navigation Sidebar.
- On the Navigation Sidebar, click
.
- In the popup panel, select "Basic Platform Settings".
- Navigate to the section "User Management".
- Go to the section "Reset User Password".
- Go on to input the following fields:
- Click
to reset the password. This Player will now be able to log in to their account using the new, specified password.
To reset multiple Players’ password
NOTE: Using this method, all affected Players will have the same password. |

to expand the Navigation Sidebar.
- On the Navigation Sidebar, click

- In the popup panel, select "Basic Platform Settings".
- Navigate to the section "User Management".
- Go to the section "Reset Multiple User Passwords".
- Prepare the excel sheet for upload as following:
- 1st column: Players' email addresses
- Save the file as .xls.
- Click
to select the .xls file you have created.
- Insert a password you would like to reset to (If you leave this field blank, a default password will be used).
- Click
to reset the password. All affected Players will now be able to log in to their account using the new, specified password.
