Note: This feature is only available to Super Admins on the Enterprise Platform.
Super Admins can delete user accounts from the platform when an account is no longer required.
Account deletion should be carried out carefully, as it may affect the user's access to the platform and their associated account information.
Before deleting an account
Before proceeding, make sure that you have selected the correct user account.
You may also want to:
- Export or retain any user information required for reporting or record-keeping.
- Check whether the user is an administrator of any projects.
- Consider whether you only need to remove the user from a project rather than delete their account entirely.
- Confirm that the deletion is in accordance with your organisation's data retention or account management policies.
Important: Account deletion should be treated as a permanent action. Do not delete an account unless you are certain that it is no longer required.
How to delete a user account
- Sign in to the Admin Dashboard using a Super Admin account.
- Click Super Admin.
- Select User Account Management from the pop-up panel.
- Scroll to the Delete Accounts section.
- Choose whether you would like to delete a single account or multiple accounts.
Delete a single account
- Enter the email address of the account you would like to delete.
- Review the account details before proceeding.
- Confirm the deletion.
Delete multiple accounts
Prepare an Excel file containing the accounts you would like to delete, following these requirements:
- The first column should contain the email addresses of existing users.
- The Excel file should contain only one sheet and must not contain any hidden sheets.
- Do not include column headers.
- You may include as many rows as required, provided the same format is followed throughout.
- Only Excel files with the .xlsx file extension are accepted.
- Click Choose File and upload the completed Excel file.
After uploading the file, review the request and confirm the deletion.
Once the deletion is confirmed, the affected users will no longer be able to access the platform using the deleted accounts.
Deleting an account vs removing a player from a project
Deleting a user account is different from removing a player from an individual project.
If you only need to prevent a player from participating in a particular project, use the relevant project or player management options instead of deleting the user's entire account.
Account deletion is more appropriate when the user should no longer have an account on the platform.
