Changing Language Setting on App

NOTE:

  • System language refers to the default language of the device you are using, which Gametize then used to display platform keywords such as the call-to-action buttons (e.g. “continue”, “do it”, etc). Learn more about the difference between System Language and Content Language.

Changing the system language is slightly different between the iOS and Android devices. This articles covers the following:

To change the system language on an iOS device

  1. Sign in to your Player account via the Gametize app. 
  2. On the home page, tap on your avatar image to expand the menu. 
  3. Tap on "Language". This will redirect you to the device settings page for Gametize. 
  4. Tap "Language" under “PREFERRED LANGUAGE”
  5. Select a system language you would like to change to. 
  6. Then, switch back to the Gametize app on the same iOS device. You will see the change in the system language.

To change the system language on an Android device

  1. Go to your device settings page. 
  2. Tap on "General management".
  3. Tap on "Language".
  4. Select a system language you would like to change to. 
  5. Tap on "Apply" to change the system language.
  6. You will see the change in the system language.

NOTE: If you are an Administrator, you can control the system language that your Players are viewing the Project in, i.e. set a default language for your Project. Learn more here.
