NOTE: Removing Players from Project is an irreversible action, deleting all Player related data such as Challenge completions, points earned, votes casted, and comments posted in the Project. |
This article will cover the steps to remove Players from a Project. There are 3 ways to do so:
- Remove single Player
- Remove multiple Players via Bulk Actions
- Remove multiple Players via Excel Upload
To remove a single Player:
- Select a Project from which you would like to remove the Player.
- Navigate to Project Tools.
- Scroll to the section ‘Player Management (Project)’ and select “Player Manager”
- You will see a list of Players who are currently in the Project.
- Under the Actions column, click on .
- You will be directed to the confirmation page to confirm your action.
To remove multiple Players via Bulk Actions
- Select a Project from which you would like to remove the Player.
- Navigate to Project Tools.
- Scroll to the section ‘Player Management’ and select “Player Manager”. You will see a list of Players who are currently in the Project.
- In the top right corner, under “Bulk actions” click .
- This will launch a multiple-selection popup window. You can select multiple Players by:

- Searching for the Player’s name or email address
- Selecting the checkbox in the header row to select all
- Selecting 1 or more checkboxes from the list

6. Click to proceed to the confirmation screen and complete the action.
To remove multiple Players via Excel Upload
- Select a Project from which you would like to remove the Player.
- Navigate to Project Tools.
- Scroll to the section ‘Player Management’ and select “Player Manager”. You will see a list of Players who are currently in the Project.
- In the top right corner, under “Bulk actions” click .
- This will launch a popup window. Select the 2nd tab - “Upload Excel File”.
- Click to select a file from your file manager.
- Click to complete the action.
NOTE: Removing a large group of Players in a single go can be a long process as it also removes all Challenge submissions, comments, and votes associated. You might end up with an error page or browser session timeout. |
