Coming Soon: “Watch a Video” Challenge on Gametize.com

We’re excited to introduce an upcoming feature on Gametize.com — a new challenge type that rewards players only after watching a video to the end.

🎯 Why This Matters

This has been a frequent request, especially from clients in the learning and training sectors, where it's important to ensure that players actually consume the content. Previously, while our platform supported video embedding, it was a trust-based activity — typically done using a Confirmation Challenge, where players clicked “I have watched it.”

The new “Watch a Video” Challenge provides a more accountable method. Points will be awarded only when the video is fully watched, offering a more reliable tool for learning and engagement.

🧩 Where to Find It

You’ll find this challenge under the newly renamed “Browse the Marketplace” section. This area was previously known as “Minigame”, as it featured only mini-games. Now, it includes a wider range of content widgets, making the new name a better fit.
