[UIUX] QR Scanning and Search Icon (for both App and Web)

shannon liaw I would like to push for having the search icon appear directly on the home screen (as we work to standardizing the reactJS and native mobile appearance).

Also, there has been quite some discussions on QR challenge scanner and I have thought about it extensively; I highly recommend the QR scanning function to be apparent on the home screen as that is the practice of many apps today (e.g. Whatsapp).
