I find the UX here rather non-intuitive, esp when it relies on a tooltip for the admin to discover this function. Here are some suggested workarounds:

    1) Placeholder in the "incorrect completion" within the textbox itself can indicate to the admin that the message provided in the "correct answer" will be used if this field is left blank. (easiest to implement). Also Vicott Wong's suggestion.

    2) Have a button that says "Use same message for incorrect answers", Once it is tapped, the text from "correct completion" will be copied to the "incorrect completion". In such a case, by default the textbox for "incorrect answers" will always be empty. This UX may be more structured but it will be an additional step for the admin, hence not preferred.

Gametize Support I suggest to tag the title with [Challenge] [UX] [Feedback Message]

For now, we are going with a minor UI tweak to make the copywriting more conspicuous:

Thank you @.... I will still strongly urge either of the following options to make it very very obvious for the admin. I agree with reporter this is counter-intuitive.

    1) Placeholder within the textbox itself can be changed to indicate to the admin that the message provided in the "correct answer" will be used if this field is left blank. (easiest to implement). Also Vicott Wong's suggestion. E.g. Type in what you want the user to see when they choose the wrong answer. If left unchanged, it will adopt the default answer "Message to display to players for correct completions" above.

    2) Have a button that says "Use same message for incorrect answers", Once it is tapped, the text from "correct completion" will be copied to the "incorrect completion". In such a case, by default the textbox for "incorrect answers" will always be empty and not take the "right" answer by default. This UX may be more structured but it will be an additional step for the admin.

I will go for option 1.

There was never an intention to have a "Use same message for incorrect answers"; the resultant behaviour was due to some technical challenges with backward compatibility, way back before my time when this is designed. So a new button/feature should not be developed to bloat this further.
