I'll like to suggest having the images in a 2 by 2 grid layout. i.e. it will always be 2 options in a roll. It will be a lot easier to scroll.

  Amanda Brenda Nicole Tan I like what I see here (though it is post-completion). The images are resized to be much smaller, and I think that should be how the image options can appear pre-completion. There is an element of standardization here also for how much space the image options will take individually, and the options look the same before and after.

  Tapping on it once will "select" the answer. Tapping on it again will allow the image to be zoomed in. I strongly recommend this strategy.

  Another feedback from a client: sometimes users do not scroll down enough and think there is only 2 or 3 rows of options, when there is more.
