Our billing features have changed quite a bit since the post was originally made.
Now, within the same page, it offers the option to change the plan or downgrade to free.
Upon clicking on "Downgrade to Free Plan later", you will be re-directed to the confirmation page which also clarifies what the "later" means - the end of your current billing cycle.
