Please consider extending the video duration to 30sec.

  Admins can now determine the video duration for upload, within the limits of 10 to 60 seconds! You can see the settings in the Challenge during creation or edit.

  Adding input from Mark (Engage Plus) that 30 seconds is quite ideal, sounds like this is very important to them.

  Use cases are as Li Xin has described. With 10 seconds, they have only been able to use it for a "hyper-elevator pitch" and have not been able to effectively utilize thus far.

  This is already on HIGH priority. Basically, the duration will soon be part of challenge parameters (settings). The value will be dynamic instead of fixed.

  Hi!

  I just tried uploading a video more than the stipulated allowed time, and what it does is it automatically trims to 10 seconds without informing the user. 

   

  I assume there are plans to further improve the UX as this is a beta feature, e.g.

  1) Inform the user that the video has been trimmed, or
  2) Allow the user to choose which part of the video to be trimmed.
  3) Also, if they choose to take video directly, maybe there can be a timer and an overlay to display to the user on how many seconds is left to take the video.
  4) Side note: the caption to remind user of the video duration is quite dark and not very visible.
