Credits are account balances that can be used to offset any future invoices or payments in your account. Account balances can be credited by authorized personnel in Gametize or purchased on Gametize.com.
If you have a minimum of 500 credits in your account balance, the Premium Plan subscription will continue automatically after the free trial expires. (1 Gametize credit = USD$1).
This article will cover how to view account balance and how Gametize credits work in different scenarios:
- To view account balance
- Scenario 1:Upgrade/Downgrade plan with no credit card in system
- Scenario 2: Upgrade/Downgrade plan with credit card in system
- Scenario 3: Removed Credit Card and wish to utilize credits for the next renewal or upgrade/downgrade of project
- Scenario 4: Use credits for active paid projects
- Scenario 5: Payment failed but credits have been deducted
To view account balance:
- Sign in to your Administrator Account.
- Expand the Navigation Sidebar and select
.
- Once on the Billing Information page, everything about your Account Balance is on the right side of the page.
- Your account balance will be reflected in terms of money value.
Scenario 1: Upgrade/Downgrade plan with no credit card in system

Sign in to your Administrator account.
- From the Admin Dashboard, select a Project you wish to upgrade/downgrade.
- From the Project Manager page, select Project Billing & Usage and then select.
- You may toggle
to view the monthly and annual plans. Depending on the plan selected, you may also be prompted to have it billed monthly or yearly to you.
- You will be requested to fill in your billing information and credit card information before proceeding to upgrade/downgrade the plan. Your current account balance will be reflected on this page and will be utilised for the plan subscription.

Scenario 2: Upgrade/Downgrade plan with Credit Card in system
If you have added your credit card for billing, you may proceed to upgrade/downgrade your plan by following the steps below:

Sign in to your Administrator account.
- From the Admin Dashboard, select a Project you wish to upgrade/downgrade.
- From the Project Manager page, select Project Billing & Usage and then select
.
- You may toggle
to view the monthly and annual plans. Depending on the plan selected, you may also be prompted to have it billed monthly or yearly to you.
- You may select
to expand the coupon code field if you want to apply a coupon code.
- Go on to insert a coupon code and click
to apply. Below the field, you will be informed if you have applied the coupon code successfully.
- Check your payment details and plan details and select
.
Scenario 3: Removed Credit Card and wish to utilize credits for the next renewal or upgrade/downgrade of plan
Using your credits for the next renewal or upgrade/downgrade of your plan will not be possible if your credit card has been removed. In order to use your credits to renew or upgrade/downgrade your plan, you must add at least one credit card to your account.

Scenario 4: Use credits for active paid projects
No action is required on your part if you wish to utilize credits for the renewal of your active paid project. Credit balances will automatically be applied to renew active paid projects.

Scenario 5: Payment failed but credits have been deducted
In the event that credits have been deducted but the remaining balance was not able to be deducted from the credit card, the Project will fail to be renewed or upgraded/downgraded.
