What happens to Team Bonus Points when a Team has newly added members?

Let’s explore what happens to Team Bonus Points when a Team has newly added members in the following circumstances:

• When there is no change in criteria
• When there is a change in criteria - the number of Players per team who must complete the Challenge
• When there is a change in criteria - team bonus points to award

When there is no change in criteria

Criteria refer to the number of Players per team who must complete the Challenge and/or bonus points to award. 

Let’s illustrate with the following example:

• Say the initial Team Bonus Points criteria is 1 Player per team must complete the Challenge to receive 10 team bonus points and Team A begins with 5 Players.
• One Player from Team A completes the Challenge, resulting in all 5 Players in the Team receiving 10 team bonus points each.
• A 6th Player then joins Team A. This Player will not receive the 10 team bonus points automatically.
• In order to receive the 10 team bonus points, the 6th Player would need to complete the said Challenge.

When there is a change in criteria - the number of Players per team who must complete the Challenge

When there is a change in the number of Players per team who must complete the Challenge, only Players who have not received team bonus points for the said Challenge will be affected. 

 Let’s illustrate with the following example:

• Say the initial Team Bonus Points criteria is 1 Player per team must complete the Challenge to receive 10 team bonus points and Team A begins with 5 Players.
• One Player from Team A completes the Challenge, resulting in all 5 Players in the Team receiving 10 team bonus points each. 
• Admin then changed the criteria to 7 Players per team must complete the Challenge to receive 10 team bonus points.
• The original 5 Players will get to keep the team bonus points they have already received.
• The 6th and 7th Players then join Team A. It is only when both Players complete the Challenge will the 6th and 7th Players receive 10 team bonus points each. 

When there is a change in criteria - team bonus points to award

When there is a change in the team bonus points to award, only Players who have not received team bonus points for the said Challenge will be affected.  

Let’s illustrate with the following example:

• Say the initial Team Bonus Points criteria is 1 Player per team must complete the Challenge to receive 10 team bonus points and Team A begins with 5 Players.
• One Player from Team A completes the Challenge, resulting in all 5 Players in the Team receiving 10 team bonus points each. 
• Admin then changed the criteria to 1 Player per team must complete the Challenge to receive 15 team bonus points.
• A 6th Player then joins Team A. This Player will not receive the 15 team bonus points automatically.
• In order to receive the 15 team bonus points, the 6th Player would have to complete the said Challenge.
• The original 5 team members will not receive additional team bonus points despite the change.
