After assigning Team Bonus Points to a Challenge for the first time, you can edit these settings by editing the Challenge. There are several key points to note while doing so:
(1) Knowing the number of Team & Players who have received bonus points so far
The little yellow box will remind you, to date, how many Teams and Players (added up from all the Teams) have received team bonus points for completing the Challenge.
(2) Editing the number of Players needed per team to complete the Challenge to receive team bonus points
Any change in the number of Players needed per team will only affect Players/Teams who have completed the Challenge and fulfilled the team bonus points criteria after the change.
For example, when creating the Challenge, you have assigned 3 Players per team to complete the Challenge in order to receive team bonus points. 3 Players from Team A and 2 Players from Team B completed the Challenge. All Players of Team A were awarded the team bonus points, but none for Team B. You then decided to change such that each team would require 4 Players to complete the Challenge in order to receive team bonus points.
- Team Bonus Points which had been awarded to all Players of Team A will not be removed.
- Team B would require 2 more Players to complete the Challenge in order to receive the team bonus points.
(3) Reducing the number of Players required per team to complete the Challenge
You can do so as long as the number of Players per team who must complete the selected Challenge is more than 0 (unless you would like to stop giving out team bonus points, see next point).
(4) To stop giving out team bonus points for completing a Challenge
You can do so by simply changing the number of Players per team who must complete this Challenge to 0 and bonus points to award to 0.
(5) Editing the number of team bonus points Teams/Players can receive
Any change in the number of team bonus points will only affect Teams/Players who have completed the Challenge and fulfilled the team bonus points criteria after the change.
For example, when creating the Challenge, you have assigned 3 Players per team to complete the Challenge in order to receive 15 team bonus points. 3 Players from Team A and 2 Players from Team B completed the Challenge. All Players of Team A were awarded the 15 team bonus points each, but none for Team B. You then decided to change such that each team would receive 20 team bonus points when 3 Players complete the Challenge.
- Team A will not be awarded additional team bonus points, i.e. remained at 15 team bonus points per Player.
- When Team B has fulfilled the criteria - by having 3 Players completed the Challenge, each Player will receive 20 team bonus points.
Unlike assigning points to Challenge - for completions or votes which applies to all Players how have completed the Challenge or received votes, Team Bonus Points only apply to Players who belong to a Team. |
