Creating a Pop-up Alert

Pop-up alert is an effective way to draw attention to a message the moment Players enter the Project, acting just like an announcement or flash news. The feature is available on both the Gametize mobile application and the web.

NOTE: The pop-up alert appears every time a Player enters your Project on both web and mobile apps.

There are 2 types of alerts which you can create:

Creating an image pop-up alert

Go to Project Tools and select “Pop-up Alert”.
Under “Alert Type”, select Image.
Insert a title (limited to 25 characters).
Upload an alert image by clicking - below are the recommended image dimensions.
(optional) Insert a URL - where Players will be directed to when they click/tap on the alert image.
To complete, click .

[BETA] Create a website pop-up alert

NOTE: The website alert type is still in beta and image upload is still required to launch the website.

Go to Project Tools and select “Pop-up Alert”.
Under “Alert Type”, select website.
Insert a URL to embed - where Players will be directed to when they click/tap on the alert image. (Note that some websites may not allow embedding.)
Upload an alert image by clicking - below are the recommended image dimensions.
To complete, click .

NOTE:

The website pop-up alert uses iframe embed to embed the URL. However, not all websites allow iframe embed, and the preview allows you to identify which does and which does not.

Pop-up Alert image dimensions:

Full image size: 550px (width) by 700px (height)
Safe space size: 382px (width) by 700px (height) - Place all important information (e.g. text) in this safe space to ensure compatibility with all screen sizes.
